Default at least cops did something

In san diego when you call to report a stolen car or stolen whatever, they wont even come out, they just do a police report over the phone and your done.

The cops also tell you that you have little chance at all of getting anything back.

Im amazed they even took finger prints.

Whoever stole it is probably selling the stuff on e-bay. if so, hopefully the buyer will take it to get it tuned - unless whoever stole it is going to do the install/tuning himself for a new customer.

good luck crime sucks.

most likely they will have some1 tune it. i think all it had was boost option. also, many tuners only check the serial to see what options it has, not if its stolen. if he was to upgrade, then there might be a possible way of catching him.

Right after I got my turbo installed in my civic the next day someone broke in and screwed up my car. They also stuck a screw driver in my tires just for the hell of it. Ripped out all my gauges, boost controler and vtec controler.

Exactly! I live right down the street from him and my car was stolen almost a year ago. NO ONE took fingerprints No one followed up on any of it... they just recovered the car and dragged the poor thing across concrete (which the car tore up) onto the flatbed. Brutal

When my car was stolen in north miami ( i even knew who took it) the cops did nothing but laugh, said they don't even bother investigating the cases and thats what insurance is for ...********

Good luck with everything Marc

We'll all wish a curse on those mfrs. To make you feel better I'll tell you what happened to a friend of mine. He went to a movies with his crew in old town Pasadena, Ca. When he came out he noticed two heads in his turbo da. My friend and his crew just came out on time as they were in the processes of trying to jack the whole car. Bad timing for them, good timing for my friend. As for a happy ending my friend and his crew came down on them with vengence, wrath, and furious anger and he was able to keep his da he put heart, blood, and guts into. They were just lucky my friend wasn't pack'n.
