This is my set up
Aeromotive a1000 Fuel Pump
Aeromotive Regulator
10-an Feed Lines

STRFuel Rail
Precision 1600cc Fuel Injectors
as the outher guy said dont waste your $$ on a $90 pump when you have spent 2,3,4,5k on the motor

see that is what i thought when i am goin to be dropping about 15k on my finished motor. how can a 90 dollar pump work properly, some say it will for 450 but like i said what happens when i use race fuel and hopefully get it around 600. I think I am goin to go with kinda the setup as above. but maybe change a few things.
since when did walbro have such a bad rep for going out? i havne't seen one thread about walbro's dying out on street cars. i'm just showing you that there are plenty of 500, 600+ hp cars that use simple fuel setups. i have no experience with the whole sumping the tank and running big inline pumps, but i have seen walbro's take high hp. how do those big inline pumps work on a daily basis as a daily driver? any longevity problems?
i'm not saying that. i'm saying that the walbro 255hp can handle the fuel demand. look around other people's setups using walbro's and see what worked for them and what didnt.

yea please info me. look i am about to dump 15k into my motor. to some thats alot and others line wantboost who is dumping 60k its not. but still i wanna do this right, so i dont need up rebuilding my 15k motor in 2 months cause of a 100 dollar fuel pump. if i over do it at least i know its built to last. but please let me know what went wrong with ur setup.
Your question has been answered quite a few times. People have made 650hp with the 255lph. If you dont trust it, then heck why not drop another 1k on fuel delivery cause you feel like it when you dont need it.

ok i read through the whole thread and no where in there was it clearly stated the walbro pump failed. have u pulled the pump and tried it on another car? all there was in that post was speculation. and sorry to say but most people speculated too much timing or a bad tune.

lol, see reasons like this is why i get so confused on what to do. one says its worth it then another says its not spend more money and do it right. all i can say is i would love to get away with just the walbro pump but if not i am willing to drop a few more dollars to get a better one. it doesnt matter I just dont wanna take the cheap way out unless the cheap way is the right way. cause i believe a lot in you pay for what you get.

When I get some money together I'm doing this:
Sumped tank weldon 2025 pump, weldon 2040 regulator, wired to the alternator with on its own relay, 12an feed, 10an return lines, (maybe pressurize rail from both sides).

It was neither too much timing or a bad tune my tuner is uber safe....

sounds like you got it all figured out. and sounds expensive, i still need to deside which way i am going. one says go with walbro and the other says do it right the first time. so i dont know i am goin to do alittle more research myself before i deside anything. Thanks for your help

Ok I am going to help u answer ur question. If u have the money its always better to have more fuel than too little, it seems that you are already set on the aeromotive so go with it. My setup is
A1000
Paxton FPR
Precision 1000 cc
-10 Feed
-8 return
A1000
Paxton FPR
Precision 1000 cc

-8 return
Ok but where can I find and order Aeromotive parts? Get the fuel lines, FPR, etc? I dont know where I can order these from. All the sites I have don't carry any of those.
