Fuel management question!
I recently purchased the Apex'i Turbo kit for the SOHC engine, and i can't decide on what to do for fuel management. If i should get the apex'i fuel set up ( which consists of missing link, intank fuel pump, and fmu), or some form of the afc hack, or hondata s200??i would only be runing 8 psi on a stock motor. i have no other fuel upgrades either. Any other setups anyone reccomends would help too. thanks.
me personally, I would go hondata. I started off with the FMU setup and could only go to a certain point. With hondata or something like haltech, your possibilities are almost endless. The FMU is nice, but i'm sure you'll want to crank the boost up past 8psi one day.
I hear the v-afc hack is pretty good (short of standalone)...
I would recomend some sort of fuel controller to "fine" tune the air/fuel ratio.
High flow intank fuel pump and larger injectors...
go hondata if you have the funds....

hondata for sure. AFC hack and FMU are cheap bandaids. Do it right the first time, that way you won't be tearing your motor apart before summer.
the reason I am getting a new motor is because I was using the FMU. Go hondata. Seriously, invest a little more money, do it right the first time and you wont be sorry.
You are getting yourself into a money pit, and if you decide to skimp on the most important part of any engine pushing high numbers, you will be digging a deeper grave.
