Re: Fuel management (roachsboosted16)
i only need a unit for fuel/air. ive been looking at blox fmu, and i can get a 12:1 and evry 1 psi it lowers the compression accordingly. that or somethin like hondata/e-manage for the same purpose.

But why waste the money? Just find someone on here in your area that tunes with crome or uberdata and be done with it. Dont try to be cheap and end up having it run like **** or worst case blow up.....Do it right the first time.

Re: Fuel management (1TurboHatch)
ther is not a tuning shop close enough to make runs to the shop like that. i need something that will self adjust the compression and that i can work on.

Re: Fuel management (roachsboosted16)
A 12:1 fmu raises the fuel pressure 12 psi for every pound of boost. You can't run very much boost with a fmu cause your fuel pressure will rise to very high pressures making your injectors spray funny. And if you are running boost then you most likely are going to want to adjust your ignition timing to keep it safe. Get yourself injectors, an emulator, socketed p28 ecu, crome, and someone that knows how to tune it.

Its not safe at all IMO. It might blow up or you might get lucky and have it only run like ****.
Crome and uberdata are free. Do some research on tuning and buy a used wideband and be much happier in the end.
