If you intend to run that low amount of boost, you can get a small intercooler. If you intend to boost more. I would go with an intercooler that gives you some latitude.

Yes first decide how much power you ultimately plan on making so you can get a FMIC that will effecient for the power youneed to support. A good candidate would be maybe a spearco unit, or try ebay boostcollers sells kits from like 325-450 depeding on size. go with something of this sort 26.5x7x3.

Hope this helps.

Having a intercooler is always good idea. I'm running 5psi too.

Let me see if I can find the specs on it. I just know its was the maxrev intercooler .. which I was told used a HKS core with maxrev endtanks.

Does anybody know the size of that intercooler?

This wil be just fine. (I would get one thicker than 2 inches though.)

Something to consider to is aesthetic appeal. I like an intercooler that almost fills up the bottom grill of my 97 civic completely.
I got mine off ebay from auction1010. It was 31X6X2.75

First let me say that it too big for your setup. How much is this btw? "30 inch lenght core size" thats big. No need to spend $ where you dont need it. Also get something thicker than 2 inches. When i was in market for mine the ebay ones were going for $335 for a 26.5x7x3 this is end tank to endtank not core size.
I ended up getting a precision FMIC for $350 its 26.5x6.5.3.5 and core size i believe is 18.5x6.25x3.5, this is plenty enought to support my goal of 275-290 whp.
