are you asking is it better to have a fpr or a fuel pump?

fuel pump adds more fuel

are you looking to say does the fpr adjust fuel pressure rates to add more fuel?

well it sounds like your friend is saying add a fuel pressure regulator to add more fuel, but it wont add anymore fuel than what your stock fuel pump will allow.

i think the stock fpr will be fine for you.

you will not be able to tune the car correctly on a simple safc unit, look into hondata or crome
