Re: fp hta turbo?
Most who are in the market in that level will get one of the precision 6262s and 6765 before choosing that due to 1) price tag 2) use of the car is more of a strip than street, 3) FP doesn't dominate the market here like on DSM, Evolution and Subaru forums and sets.

Re: fp hta turbo?
I've ran a fp 68hta on my subaru, havent really seen honda owners with a hta turbo though. But like mentioned previously those turbo's are mainly seen on subaru, evo's..

they are pricey, but i like the exhaust back housing they have, i would definantly want to run one of those turbo's or try and fit there back housing to a gt30r on my gf teg

they are real good turbos. A guy that does some fab work for me on my DSM. Hes done my top mount and my valve cover and catch can setup has an 3586r. He goes 5.70's in the 8th at 130+. The car before this setup had a GT4202r on it and made 903whp on 41psi. The car has gone faster in both the 8th and 1/4 on the 3586r setup.

The flow characteristics of a DSM, Subaru or Evo are vastly different than that of a B or K series engine. For example, a T3/T04e 50 trim .48 ar works wonders on an SRT, but would choke out early on a B series. Just because the HTA turbos work well on another engine doesn't mean they will work equally as well on a Honda. I dont remember the cost of them off-hand, but i remember them being rather spendy...for the money, there are most likely better options available

Re: fp hta turbo?
Standard HTA GT3582R = $1700
GT3586R = $1750
GT35R compressor wheel Ported Shroud exchange program $600 (This only works if you have a GT35R already)
GT3076R HTA = $1700 . No exchange program.
Considering what you get the prices aren't bad.. but again, there are other options that Honda guys use.

If you can get it and you have the correct resources, by all means, use it. We're not saying not to buy it. Many H-Ters just don't fall into the idea that FP is a "deity" in the turbo world, so you don't see a ton of FP disciples with Honda dyno sheets, charts and E.T. Times. I'm sure you'll enjoy it. I would pick the GT3586 before the 3582 HTA versions.

Re: fp hta turbo?
if some ppl here are using garrett gt series turbos in there cars, wouldn't it be a step or two better with the fp turbos since they basically are garrett gt turbos with a better comp wheel?
