Default Turbo Idea

Ok I used to own a dsm and this new company called AGP came up and they have this really bad *** turbo called the L1R. I think would work great on a honda. Now this puppy has been tested and can get 22lbs by 3000-3100rpm. So I was thinking, if you dont build your bottom end and only 8lbs is possible without messing anything up, why not get those 8lbs instantly? This turbo is designed for auto-X but Im sure it would work great for 1/4 too. And dont worry about restrictions, this thing can handle 430bhp. My question is this, why is it a dsm specific turbo? I dont see why it wouldnt work. Can anyone shed some light on this situation for me?

Maybe 22lb's by 3000 ON A DSM!

If it can only support 430hp, it's a pretty small turbo anyways...

it will take longer to spool up on a 1.6 or 1.8l, which is what most honda guys have, obviously. No turbo is application specific, it just requires a proper plate. I know a guy that gets 24psi on a 2.2l dodge omni at about 3500 with a T3. 3" exhaust, no cat = spools fast. that engine doesn't flow worth ****, either.

OR...

You could just get a small to midsized T3 like mine (I'm running a .60comp, .48ex) and have quick spool up for fun daily driving, autoX, etc, and only spend $150 in the process

It's not like there aren't thousands of small turbos at Junkyards, on ebay, and pretty much anywhere else you look

http://www.agpturbo.com. I understand that honda guys are working with a 1.6 or 1.8 but the dsm guys are only working with a 2.0. It was just an idea. I really want to start peicing together a turbo kit for the b18c1 I am getting but I am not sure what all I will need. I know the obvious turbo, intercooler, upgraded fuel system, ecu/stand alone, oil lines. But I need to know specifics. Can anyone inform me that has made their own junkyard setup?
