Here is my predicament:

I have everything I need for my custom turbo setup, minus one thing. Fuel management.

I have RC 440s, but I dont have a management system. I was planning on going uberdata. I cant find anyone locally who can chip my ecu, and I dont feel like messing with it myself, so I decided Id get a conversion harness and chipped ecu from Phiz. One problem there though, I beleive hes out of town, so I might not get my stuff in time. I know I should just wait it out, but im getting worried my car wont be ready and back on the road by the time school starts for me which is august 28th.

Should I just forget about uberdata right now and buy an AFC and get the car running (which makes me kind of nervous, after reading JDavis' post), or hope that Phiz gets back to me in time to have my stuff ready before school starts?

Phiz is in Las Vegas right now to my knowledge. He should be returning shortly so yes, he'll be back before that date you provided.

He was tuning my car 2 weekends ago. Now Im meeting him with another GSR-T to tune on the dyno in connecticut. However, Im still waiting for his return aswell, which I anticipated wouldn't be until sometime this weekend. Don't worry, he is a great guy and will get back to you the moment he gets back. Just email him....

 

I know hes back...I talked to him two nights ago on aol and he said itd be easiest to just email me back, but I havent got a response yet. Im sure Ill get ahold of him sooner or later, but Im on the west coast, so Im just worried by the time I get a hold of him, he chips the ecu and burns a chip, and then sends it across the country, it will be too late.

 

i cant wait till i have the money in a month to get off the vafc hack.. i want to get these damn car tuned so i dont have to worry about it anymore...

wait on the uberdata its much better than the vafc

 

I wish I could just find a damned obd1 p75 ecu

actually its barely over three weeks. Phiz is gonna do the original basemap, and I think dave lee up in bellingham will be tuning it from there...but i havent talked to him about it yet, but pat (beerbongs) recomended him so Im gonna look into that.
