Re: FMU ratio? (boostfedb18)
the stock injectors will but you need a 12:1 fmu if you use the stock injector FOR THAT MOTOR not say a DSM
turbo manifold, 14b DSM turbo, DP, 12:1 FMU, IC and piping, bov, oil return/feed, air filter and maybe a highflow fuel pump ( is this needed?)
Anything else?

Ok cool..4thGsi and I will be putting together his turbo setup. Here's what we think we need....

Re: FMU ratio? (evoeone)
RJ, run the AFC hack or the SMC w/450's it'll run a lot smoother. The 12:1 fmu with stock injectors would be sufficient but it may not feel like a factory turbo car at times if you know what I mean. Ask Ivan he ran an FMU before, there's a reason he switched to the hack. Plus if you spend a little more with the afc hack or smc you'll always have that potential to run up to 10psi if you feel confident enough to. That added adjustability is worth it. Look into it before you make a choice, proper fuel management is vital to getting the car to run like you want it to, safely. Highflow fuel pump isnt really necessary, I'm not runnning one neither is Ivan. If you run the std manifold I give you you'll need an adapter plate, you'll also need a boost gauge as well so add that onto your list, an egt gauge would be a good idea too. If you decide to run dsm 450s make sure you run dsm or GM injector clips since you have the y8 fuel rail, you wont need the resistor box since your car has one stock. Otherwise thats about everything, just make sure you research every option so once you know what to get itll be exactly what you want.

Re: FMU ratio? (4thGSi)
We were thinking of using the fmu to cut the costs down, but everyone seems to agree that it won't be as smooth. The SMC it is then . Oh BTW has anyone used this version yet?
