Default FMU or MF2

I am buying the Fmax turbo kit with the group buy, but I want to get some opinions here. Most of the guys I know around me have FMU's to regulate fuel, but I know the MF2 is awesome if you decide to tune it. What is the better way to go, I was thinking Hondata, but I don't have the $1500 to drop for reprogram and dyno right now! I figured I would save that for later! Let me know what you think!

if you dont have the money for it now, use the mf2 and tune it CORRECTLY. If you want to go significantly faster after that then I would go with a standalone. Let the stock ecu and injectors do their thing and use the MF2 to fine- tune under boost. The 2 440cc injectors that are supplied with it are good for at least another 100 hp's worth of fuel. You dont need to run a high pressure pump, just something with large volume like a tt supra or third gen rx-7.

man i ran that kit on my integra with the mf2 comp......i had to get it programmed 3 times and it still never worked right...i kept
leaning out in boost...so i ditched it for a pump and fmu and it ran fine....alot of people will tell you to stick with the mf2 and the injectors, but just my expirience....they didn't work well for me......but then i sold the whole kit, and bought the REVHARD

What do you drive? Where abouts in VA Bch are you? I keep getting mixed feelings on this matter, but I think I am going to go ahead and stick with the MF2. Then when I get to where I am finalizing my setup, I will go Hondata! Are you going to Maryland on the 2nd of July? What about Battle of the Imports in Richmond?

The picture to the left is my car, but it is coming from LA. But most of the time I drive my wife's GSR or my CBR 600 F3. Is this Chris?

That sucks it never worked right. I had one on a greddy kit and I was hitting up to 13 psi on that little turbo and still had plenty of fuel.

In the past, I heard that FMAX sent out a bad batch of MF2's that didn7t work at all.....when you install your kit make sure that MF2 is working and the injectors are flowing fuel properly
