Default FMIC install....EG

ok i got my JohnnyRacecar FMIC and am looking for pics of how you guys mounted them....i have ideas but i want to see if anyone got better ones ive searched but no good pics or install info....

I have a custom coach which is basically the same as yours. This is how I did mine on a 6gen coupe... very similar to your front frame:



notice the 2 top corners has a long aluminum piece. I bolted them to the bumper support. I drilled 2 holes on the support at each end

have a welding shop weld 2 L brackets to the top of it.

those Ic's are small how much power do they support? 250?

i have to get new brackets welded to the top to do that which i thought aout since mine are on the sides as you can see on the OG pic

I think i read somewhere that they support around 350 hp max. Theres a thread on it in these forums.

it is rated to hold up to 270WHP so say somewhere between 300-315HP roughly

I have no plan for my civic to hit anything over 250 whp. It's my daily driver. I'm happy with it. My Teg on the other hand is a different story.

5" is rated for 275-350. 6" is rated for 350+.

2" Thick core.
