There was another fluidampr vs. ATI post in the drag racing forum not too long ago. Only issue I saw was some of the earlier versions of the fluidampr came apart or something. BUt has since been updated without issues.

I run a fluidampr race pulley because I got a really good deal on it at the time and wanted to be legal for the track.

Some say, why run one of these pulleys on your street car? Well, if you take it to the dragstrip and run 11's or faster, technically you're required to have it. Of course that'll be at the discretion of your track officials, but nhra rules require any car running 11.99 or faster to have one. And at 450-500whp, i think the OP can manage that et no problem.

also, mine has an underdriven alt pulley.
