Opps, I didn't install that when I mounted the wastegate to the manifold...

I'll do that tonight.

But it doesn't fit in there flush. I have to apply pressure to the sping in-order to get it to mound flush on the flange.

I remember that ring. It aligns the connection dead center and clings to the flange so you wont have any leaks.

I wish I can use a ring like that on all my exhaust connections.

So, does the little lip go inside the Tial? or does the little lip mount into the manifold?

just make sure when you install it, that it's flush and there is no gap between wastegate and manifold... i made that mistake and the w/g was venting at idle, lol.

I add the gasket right? That should seal any leaks, right?

I was wondering about the gasket myself. I might buy the Tial wastegate used and the guy said he didn't use the gasket, silicon instead. should I buy that or does it sound fishy?

just pickup a turbonetics gasket, they have a metal ring on the inner part and that will solve the wastegate gasket blowing problems.

i have a question. i have a blitz dual solenoid boost controller and im not sure which vacuum line to hook up to the wastegate. when i had the deltagate on my motor, it hooked up to the side of the wastegate, not the top. But with the tial, there is the one on the side and one on top. im not sure which vacuum line i should hook up to: the top one, or the one on the side. can anyone help me out?
