Default Finally putting on my turbo.. EXCEPT...

eh.. i'm not sure if I have all the parts....
I've been piecing together a kit for a few months now waiting for the summer time to actually put the kit on.....
I"m actually waiting on another motor (it will be another b16a in my 90 integra)... Anyway.... here are the parts I do have... please let me know EXACTLY what i'm missing.

I have:

T3 turbo
Vortech 12:1 FMU
Bosch Inline Fuel Pump
Turbotechnics Wastegate (7lb spring)
Most of the piping (need to buy the rest)
Stock Eclipse Intercooler
Greddy Type S BOV
Greddy Turbo Timer

Ok I think that's all I got right now, but I KNOW I still NEED:

Turbo Manifold (anyone got a DRAG for sale?)
Downpipe
Boost Guage

Ok, I still need stainless steel lines, oil return line, and check valves or something like that, but this is where I'm uncertain on. Someone let me know what exactly I'm missing so I can look around for it..

NO jokes on the ghettoness of the kit. Total kit cost is probably under 1000, so if you can do better for so little money, please SHOW ME HOW.... Only planning on boosting like 5 lbs.

First of all you won't be able to boost only 5 PSI, because the wastegate you have has a 7 PSI spring. That means that you can only go higher than that. So, you might want look into a spring that will regulate boost at 5 PSI and go from there. I also recommend getting an ignition amp. More air = more fuel = more spark. Besides that everything looks fine, I'm pretty much using the same setup. It's all about "ghettoing" up the parts, and make a sick *** turbo kit!

Actually, adjust the wastegate all the way out, and then by the time you get through the intercooler and everything, you'll probably boost about 5psi. I have a 7psi wastegate and adjusted all the way out, after the intercooler and piping, I was getting 4psi, with 5psi in the higher gears.
good luck,
Jared

that intercooler should be better than nothing though rite? i mean c'mon... i'm boosting 5lbs.... i dont' even need to run one.. just wanted to run a small little one.....

dont' need no big one for 5lbs of boost......

i figured if an eclipse can run 13's on like 10+ lbs of boost on a stock intercooler..... i think i can do 5lbs......

TrOLL, You need to look at the whole picture when you compare the Mitusu vs. the honda motors. The eclipse has a lower compression vs. the B16 motor. I wouldnt use the IC for your car.
Dont try to cut corners just to get turbo and get a little high. Do it right the 1st time. Even though you are trying to save money, in the long run you are about to spend more money. Just be patient and wait for you deal to come.

if price is an issue, pick up a starion or conquest front mount intercooler. clean it up and make sure there are no leaks. they perform very well and you can usually pick them up for about $100 or less at a salvage yard.

watch the 12:1 fmu though. might be too much for a 5psi application.

and i would seriously watch that deltagate. i've just heard too many horror stories and seen too many boost spikes in person. especially with it being used as you say.

usually, what i've seen is that the more you adjust those deltagates, the worse they become.
