Default Finally!!! Now what's next...

I just got off of e bay, and won a bid for a t3 turbo, question is now what comes next. I live in Albuquerque, a town of idiots, that wish they could race... I know that installing this on a 2001 will take some serious customizing, does anyone have any good websites, or books, or shops I could go to close to NM??? Any help is great...

This is about one of the best websites you'll ever find...

Hehe, I'm often told to search more, but there is a reason behind that. Your question is vague and you gave no information about what you want/have/need/etc. Almost everything can be found via the seach funtion.

you have a 2k1 civic??? you will have a few problems!! no fuel return line so you must get some kind of real FMU. 2nd you have a front engine mount, going to have a little trouble making everthing fit. other than that you should be good to go. i would search on http://www.2k1civic.com everyone is talking about a turbo install!! and only a few people have done this. also your car is a ULEV so you might run into a few more probs!! good luck

if i were you i would just stay at the 2k1 forum untill you have the really hard questions. the people on the site really know there ****, on the 2k1 of corse.

the newer civics are very diffrent from our 6gen on down civics. still good luck!! and also my buddy has a 2k1 so if you have any questions that the boys at 2k1civic.com cant help you with just ask me!

If all you have is the T3 turbo, you have lots and lots of other stuff to buy. Do you know the specs on the turbo, trims, a/r, stage? It may not even be a good fit for your car. Check out the thurbo kits at importparts.com or revhard.com to get an idea of the other things necessary for a turbo setup. I don't think anyone makes a kit for the 2k1 yet because of the different engine mounting as stated earlier. But with time, I am sure someone will find it out and make it readily available.

Hope that helps.
