That is one large intercooler! What are the dimensions. What I realy want to know is how does that fit under your bumper?

yeah thats the same one as the welding thread.. first time on the car.. It fits perfects.. its tight up against the headlights and still about 3/4" above the rad support on the bottom.. Dimensions are 25x12.5x2.6 for the core and about 30x12.5 overall. 2.5 in/out. It feels quite a bit stronger already. I am doing some tuning this weekend and right now I'm conserned about lean so I'm taking it easy. All alum pipes too which I will post pics soon.

yeah it fits like stock and you can barely see it. I don't have any good pictures of it yet all together. I did a little tuning this past weekend and its running very good. Still no dyno time or time with a wideband. I forget the thickness of the aluminum. I wanna say its .08" or right around there. I got the aluminum sheet from mastercarr and the tubes from kteller8 and the straight from burns stainless. Couplers from ATP. I'll try to take some more pics this week of the pipes and everything back together.

i tihnk its looks very nice for the 1st one. the only suggestion i would make just becuase it bugs me when i see it that way is the tops still having like fins on it , i see it was shaved down a little, but a nice alum plate or bar over that would make it top notch . Just a suggestion from a perfectionist

No its not one of the "name brand" cores.. They seem to be really well built and it works good.

The top does still have the remains from cutting them down. I Cleaned it up some but its a real PIA to get them all off. One I was working on I welded another plate up there. It takes alot of time and alot of filler and gas. While I want the coolers to look nice the main goal is to have an inexpensive chiller that works well. One like on my car. 25x12.5x2.6 core I will sell for $325. Thats quite a bit less than everything else out there. The top and bottom are not visibile once mounted also. I could do a plate on both but then I need to add cost on for the hour + it takes and the $20-30 worth of materials.

I do agree it would look nicer though.

a well trimmed bumper-good work. The A emblem is lame as hell-throw it in the garbage. Also, you have what looks to be a bit of oil seepage from the cam plug seal.

Ya ya I know.. My car is a filthy 153,000 mile pig. I have never been one for cleaning engine bays.. I figure soon I will be doing some work to it and at that time I will replace all the seels and clean it up nice. The oil leak really isn't that bad.. It looks worse because of the flash and being dark outside.

The previous owner though red was the magic accent color. He even had a red R beside the vtec badge in the back. Red brake calipers and all. That will all go when I replace the peeling paint. I never said the car was pretty but I think I did a decent job with the cooler and pipes.

Project dc2 that funny out pipes turned out the same.. I was just gonna run a straight 90 over the tranny and at the last minute I decided to make it 45's.. Crazy how yours are the same.
