tuned to 18.5PSI in short bursts no 4th/5th gear pulls to prevent snapping rods; still hitting boostcut very fast... need to work on the flapper valve before turning it up more on a stock motor

Oah yeah, and rich as **** above 12PSI. (high 10's, low 11's.

wideband is crappin out on me for some reason; seeing consistant 10.0:1 AFR.. so I need to get it solved pronto!

good news is a vacuum mod to the bypass valve is helping, but it needs some more work; a bigger valve.. I need an OBD2 PCS pronto!

WOWWWW....That is a solid homemadeturbo kit. Get oil lines from stealthmode. Seriously consider a DP. (Downpipe not Double Penetration)

Also a Blow off valve, and an Intercooler would be good ideas.

If anything I'd say you are half-way there.

Edit: Wow, this post is old. Good job

I'm starting with a z6, which is what the si originally came with. I want a jdm d15b, but no funds for that route yet.

I will start with a hmt grungy turbo kit again... Get a feel for the sol boosted, then get a supercharger, run and tune it, then add the turbo kit back on and shoot the moon. I have an extremely inginous plan to fix the overboost issue:

if the sc was pushing 6.5psi, then the turbo hit 6.5, the sc would add a multiplification to the plenum actual psi amounts. About 42.42psi if nothing is lost/gained in temperature changes. There is a vacuum operated valve in the charger to bypass pressure as needed to keep it from overboosting. Since the turbo completely negates the vacuum signal, it will not function. This is a big problem.

My idea would be using a purge control solenoid, and a vacuum chamber. The vacuum chamber would have 2 ports on either end, one end with a one way valve to the plenum to only allow it to be vacuumed out, and the other port/end to the PCS, which hooks to the bypass valve.

When load is low enough mbars, the pcs is open letting vacuum to the valve (normal operation), and a high load activation to keep from overboosting. The pcs will close and enable boost as needed.

This is the simplest solution, but will make boost more like an on/off switch based upon conditions, rather than a linear change as you increase or decrease load.

If I use a vacuum pump I can think of using a boost controller on the flapper valve.... Which would fix everything I believe... I am trying to find a good solution to my dilemma without doing a bunch of retarded hanky panky.
