K too much to say, and the last time I wrote it it all got deleted so short and sweet:

I got a slurry of free parts: hood, brake system parts, rear disc conversion, etc...

and I have bought:
T3 Super60
Megan Racing front upper control arms
new fittings/oil lines
LC-1

and much much more...

Turbo is back in, new BLURR and DP are in. Running 10PSI. Sucker is killer!

New alarm: 2-way with a modified transmitter/receiver by myself for a true [and tested] 2-mile remote reception and just shy of 1 mile transmitting to the car. So; anyone thinks about being stupid, I will be around shortly with a bat, shotgun, and huge smile on my face to greet the people who have no business on or in my car. [gotta love having a permit!]

sorry, no pics... deal with it =P haha.

Oah yeah: Strike another Z28, time to find some comp!

Anyways, more TBA as always.

Yep; Recently work owns me, and I think my blck box orings failed... I am getting drippage on my DP and it's pissing me off.

Well, gotta do some investigating, and get some new fittings on and make a few welds..

Bringing the radiator support out, hopefully enough to get the front end true once again without a frame puller. Should be doable, and my headlights will be spot on track again.

60-trim seems to be worth the $90 spent; rear disc goin in tomorrow. Possibly ordering a OBX LSD if i am feeling squirrley.

I need to get some honing brushes so I can start prepping my block; once block is ready I need to assess the need for notching the block and girdle... doubted either will be needed as these FJ I-beams have an awesome profile. Once everything is test-fit on the block, I will once again reinstall my smog motor, and pull the crank from this current block; build the other bottom end, slap on this nice broken-in head with less than 4K on the rebuild... new seals and a hand polished valvecover.

Block will be cleaned and ceramic clearcoated. The valvecover will be ceramic clear as well to preserve it's shine.

I am rebuild a tranny and have new axles, and other normal service parts to basically give this car a whole new life.

the build will begin when the chassis work is complete; and it's more than well underway. the trunk, and hood have been changed, energy suspension bushings are done, braking components nearly all replaced... body work is going to be done on the bondo side which received a coat of primer a while back. A friend offered to take the bondo off to clean metal, bang it to shape, reweld seams, and lightly bondo the rest out... should be a good job... for only $250... I've known him a while. He just wants one chance to drive the car.. that I can do.

I am already saving for a DelSol so I can do a real build; all other 92-95's to me are just toys... the Sol will be the real project. I am even thinking of chopping 1-2" off the top... that serious. The sol's my car. I already have the build listed up; and it's quite an amount to swallow; but alot I already have, and the rest, well, it aint going to happen overnight!

ok, ok, here's a few... but I need to get some more current ones that show my "WG deflector" so my open WG doesn't melt my radiator fan

Ill post up all the ones in my photobucket that are recent... and related...

Got my Super60

The LS motor and tranny (already sold) that we pulled out of the $90 car... motor and tranny were low miles... very low.

botched DP for tem use on the BLURR mani

test-fit pic; alot cleaner than it is now; open WG means soot on mani/WG.... you'll see later

Flame-on!

BLOX bushings didn't even make it 4,000 miles....

always always

The bushings are gone cause I like to go fast on some private roads and over the mountains... < 2,000 miles they made my car feel like it's in a windstorm no matter how slow/fast your going.

The control arms are good, bushings ok, but the design does not allow you to use energy suspension bushings in them, so I need to ditch them.

If someone has a set of Teg rear LCA's with swaybar mounts, I'll trade... straight up. I will even include the still good bushings from the other LCA's I just pressed out to put in the E/S bushings

Update: took the cat off last night to see what a test-pipe would do...

wouldn't you know... I shoulda looked at it before I tried to smog my car origionally...

it's empty... no catalyst.. nadda. The [freak]er is empty! So it looks like my car passed the dreaded "Test-only" and smog-dyno with no CAT...

goes to show;

if your not passing, there is a reason! 70% of the time you can remedy it easily; 20% of the time you can replace the CAT and pass just fine... for now....

or, 10% of the time all statistics are made up on the spot!

Rear disc is in.

Exhaust exploded:

E/S bushings are all in in the rear; camber arm is being replaced right before alignment; rack gets done tomorrow (hopefully).

Ugggh... more work to come... gotta register my new streetbike tomorrow!

Well, another late update:

Many miles more have been put on the car, pushing it hard on the regular; runs like a champ!

Pulling the motor soon to build; I went though a job-change and a lack of funding/time for a while.

Anyways, Next post I will have a video for you..

Something about a monkey and a football, and a guy eating an un-peeled bananna!

Ok guys;

Charger is tuned... I can see why people like SC'd D's... very snappy down low, but I need more up top!

Time to bolt the T04E back on and tune some more! Install tonight or tomorrow morning!

Ok, got it done... and yes; I am rockin a little PVC still for lack of materials on-hand, and I didn't want to hack up the elbow for the non-SC setup.

Pics:

The alternator mod I was talking about before

Oil line location... barely fits... _BARELY_

So you have it supercharged and turbocharged and plan on eventually hooking up the nitrous?

Actually.... Funny you mention that; remember that nitrous kit I bought for $200? Check pages back...

My buddy wants to drill and weld bungs into the charger manifold to be able to hook up the bottle.... it would be beneficial at this point for the IAT cooling factor and beleive it or not; detonation reduction at a lower octane.

I am also going to be sending the charger into Endyn before this to have it reworked with direct-port in mind.

Now; it gets tricky with tuning and plug selection at that point.

I am about to have to drop to 2 steps colder on the plugs for the first time; as soon as I let the boost go over 12PSI; for obvious reasons.... because I am starting to have to tune out more and more pings up in higher boost amounts.

So...

Yes... Nitrous will be added at a later date... I'm going to try water injection first; it's cheaper.
