Re: Finally Boosted...........
Well the fitting on the right i had laying around the house for a while with intentions on using it for my oil return until it suddenly hit me that aluminum cannot be welded to my steel oil pan so i took a trip down to AED in richmond and purchased the fitting on the left and i can say now after having to pull my oil pan twice and put my car back in the air 3 times this may have been my worst purchase of this whole adventure cause this thing leaked like hell everytime !!

Re: Finally Boosted...........
let me add that i just recently purchased the car about 2 months ago and since then ive been correcting several things on the car . Things such as the bungee cord around the battery and electrical tape over holes in the trunk were a hideous spoiler was placed. Dangling wires throught the engine bay and things or that sort so please dont mind the remaining eyesores as they will be tended to vey soon.

Ok...
What type of turbo and wastegate are you running? My neighbor has that manifold, they're not great, crack central. Cast manifold would hold up better.

Re: Finally Boosted...........
The turbo is a ebay 57 trim .....godspeed I believe is the brand if that matters......and I don't have a clue about the wastegate it was on the cast manifold I had that was the wrong flange for my turbo ao I ditched the cast manidold and kept the wastegate.

Re: Finally Boosted...........
Psi is not a measurement of power. I can not comment on Godspeed turbos because I run a Garrett. If you have little information on the wastegate then you might want to investigate that before you move forward. If your going to turbo your vehicle I would hope you'd know everything there is about the items your installing.

Re: Finally Boosted...........
yes i am fully aware of that and by no means at all was that a reference to a power goal just simply stating that with my supporting mods and the fact that im on a stock map sensor that 10lbs is what the car will be tuned to accordingly regardless of power levels achieved at the amount of boost.

Re: Finally Boosted...........
Instead of re doing the entire setup, take that manifold and brace it like crazy. It will last longer and can give you time to save up for a new manifold and downpipe setup. People have made those manis work with a lot of bracing. Not sure how long though.... The inline pro manifold is real nice if you are looking into something cast.
