finally boosted.....12.3@116
I finnally got my car boosted. Setup is ls/vtec with 99 b16 head. Complete Engineering turbo manifold (i like this piece very much and it is well within my budget). SC61 s-comp (thanks art), xs engineering ic core, complete engineering ic piping, down pipe and exhaust, they built the dump tube today and i really like it.
It runs great and i have not had any problems as of yet, the car was street tuned and hasn't even been thrown on the dyno yet. Out in LA over the weekend it ran 12.3@116 as the best pass.
here are some more pics

what do you think? Any suggestion of what to do next?

Congrats on the numbers, but you should learn to cover your licence plate when taking shots and posting them on the net. Lots of theives around.

Re: Re: (curiousgpnoy)
To answer the question I remmeber him saying the run was on 10 psi and this car is untuned so theres even more potential left in it.
Phillip congrats on you , This is Iggy btw. I was really impressed with your car/setup this weekend. When i saw that mph I almost pissed my pants.
Good luck and post some #'s once you get tuned.

Yep the runs were @ 10psi and he was using BFG drag radials.
congrats again phillip, the only thing I would say to do next is get the 3bar and see what you can do w/ a couple more boosties.. dyno tune too

It's a coupe and it hasn't seen the dyno yet.

Man....look at that shitty *** setup! AHHHA. Just messing Phil. Saw the beast being slapped together quickly before the race. Great quarter time and another great Complete manifold being put to good use.

Re: finally boosted.....12.3@116 (TwoK4drSi)
I had the kit finished by saturday at 10pm and got straight on the road to drive to shrevesport.
The car is a 1990 Ls bottom end with 170k on it.
the head is a b16(stock)
the turbo does have the special touch and also part of a fan plug in it
the tranny is a special deal that i threw together. Basically a us type r tranny.
gator racing axles (thanks stan)
the car is a coupe that weighed 2650 before i got the turbo kit on.
i street tuned the car myself with alot of help from a special someone
I love the complete engineering manifold, great price and the guys are great.
