Final Tial Question :)

I dunno why I thought to try this. Since I think I am outflowing my current 38 I decided to see how far the 44's valve would open. Is this normal? Wouldn't it be better if the valve opened all the way to allow even more flow? Thanks again guys.

im pretty sure the valve open that much is already flowing as much as a 44mm hole is going to flow.

Well, the valve doesn't even open that much during normal operation. As it appears, you took this picture without a spring in it.

Correct. I had the top of it off just to verify that the spring was in fact the stated spring on the box. I just pushed it open with my finger to see the maximum it would open. When it is open that far the metal octagon shaped top of the inside diaphram is touching the top outer casing.
