Filter for revhard kit?

Default Filter for revhard kit?

ok, just got the revhard kit installed. its a nice kit, but no air filter. for the moment i've got a piece of screen and a hose clamp. i'd like to get an air filter on there though. any info on where buy to an intake or make one? anyone else in the same boat?

i had the same problem. What i did was cut my short ram injen intake i had laying around and cut it up untill i got a piece that wwould fit. I can get a pic if you want let me know. Otherwise try a local shop and see if they can fab something for you.

I ran it with no filter for a couple months, and my IAC valve was shut closed due
to too much dirt.. I had to take it off and clean it out with CARB cleaner..

Anyway, what I did was go to the K&N site and found a filter with a 3" ID rubber
adapter... then I went to Home Depot and bought 3" aluminum dryer hose,
and a 3" pipe.. get some hose clamps... and then hook it up...

Worked well.. I'm actually thinking of doing the same for my dump tube...

Ghetto as it is, it works... I asked Ben at ImportParts, and he quoted me
around $200 for the DRAG intake... and I didn't want to spend money for that.
