FI with msd6a question
i have the msd6a in my turbocharge SiR. after the install, i noticed that the throttle response has noticeably improved but there SEEMS to be something wrong with my idling. i also noticed that the engine vibrates a bit while idling, i didn't notice this before i installed my msd6a. as far as i know, the engine is steady while idling and not vibrating a bit like now. is that normal with msd installation? what could be wrong?

Double check your connections. I have the 6A on my car and it idles just like it did without it. Are you using the external coil?

Re: FI with msd6a question (integracon)
nope, i'm using stock coil. everything is stock except the msd. one more funny thing is, whenever i shut the engine, it stalls for few milliseconds then turbo timer kicks in and rpm jumps to 1500rpm then back to normal idling while the turbo timer is counting down. this happens after i installed the msd6a. this is confusing and frustrating.

you might have a defective unit. those things usually crap out after awhile. i wouldnt recommend using the stock coil... get an external one. that might be your problem.
