Default Feul Problem on boosted D, need help

Im running an fmu at 5psi until i have everythign ready for tuning but recntly ive been having problems. At high rpms my a/f gauge will show me that i drop to lean. I recently swapped an obd1 d16z6 in my 1998 hatch and im using ond2 injectors, but a p28 ecu. Can this be it? I went through 2 fmus and its the same problem with both.

what are you gonna tune it on? my friends turbo D would go lean at full throttle w/ the fmu.

first, depending on the a/f guage and where you have it hooked up wont be entirely accurate... compared to a wideband which is very accurate.

umm, if you're running an FMU I'm guessing you're looking at your narrowband gauge, which sucks. Get some real management and a real o2 sensor (wideband).

Im wondering if its just the gauge, because with regards to the injectors, you tend to run the injectors intended for that chassis unless you have run a resistor pack which will drop the impedience of the injctors. But with the FMU, I deffinatly recommend to keep off the boosting until you are ready to do it right. Also take into consideration that you are probably stock sized injectors and stock fuel pump. The FMU is what, probably 8 or 10:1 which makes static fuel pressure 40psi ish, 5 psi(+50lbs) 90psi of fuel, maybe your system cant hack it up top?

Just some suggestions to take into consideration.

fmu.. huh.. sounds like you just ended up half assing the setup. I would just try to get it right the first time. Your going to give up a boosted d for a stock b16 cause you have a minor fuel problem.

good way to cave in on presure

It's not the motors fault that you have sh*tty fuel management.

Sweet. Swap in a slower setup because you can't solve a problem in 10 seconds. Why did you even post here and waste peoples time if you weren't even going to TRY?

1). You are using an FMU on stock injectors. Not good at all.
2). Are you the gauge with a 4 wire narrowband or at you using it with a wideband o2? I NEVER saw you say you are using a wideband anywhere in your posts

You can't just slap a turbo on something and ghetto rig it "just for now" and not expect problems.

If you say so. Good luck with whatever you decide on.
