Default Fast Idle coolant lines cooling my GT3082? Please help

Can I use my fast idle valve coolant line to cool my GT3082?

I no longer have a fast idle valve because my elde intake mani doesn't support it. So I just have a long line bypassing it.

Can I just run the lines parallel in and out of the turbo? Basically substituting my new turbo for the old, not used fast idle valve?

Please help I want to remove my 60-1 and have this ball bearing turbo on for import alliance.

Thanks for your help,
dk

My 3082 is teed off of those lines and has worked well. I can't imagine a direct in and out would be any different.

3082...my most favorite street turbo ever man, it's awesome

Thank you all so much for your help

I'm hoping this turbo will produce more power than my 60-1 .63 hot .70 cold... this one is .82 hot .70 cold and ball bearing of course instead of thrust bearing. My 60-1 @ 19psi was a monster I can't wait.

Yeah, that's same a/r hotside I run as well. I've really taken a liking to the turbo over the past year. It hits super hard and spools quick for its size.

Thanks RC I think you have helped me before with other things.

I think I am going to like this turbo, do you happen to know the hp limitations on this turbo? Also when do you spool it? What displacement and compression ratio are you running? Any head work?

Thanks for your time, you have very nice manifolds by the way.

edit: I am looking at your delsol build thread, I to did an in-car bottom end piston rod swap in my gsr. Gotta love pulling on new 600cc crotch rockets
