F22b1 turbo question.
I have a 1997 f22b1 accord with 68k on the whole car and motor.i have friends at work that are very well mechanically inclined that claim if i turbo a non turbo car its not going to last long at all. So... How do i prove them wrong? Whats a good setup? Some do's and don'ts? The motor is internally stock and want to keep it that way. I'm not interested in high boost or crazy power. Just want it to be a nice running car as if it came turboed.
Do some research. Short answer is that it depends largely on the quality of the tune and parts. You can make over 300whp relatively easily and reliably. More if you push the issue. It's all in what you want. Right now I'm running an all OEM internal(except I have ARP headstuds) but rebuilt F22B1 with a big 60 trim T3/T4 on 18psi. Runs like a dream and is easily over 350whp.
