F20C and forged internals?
Hi,
i want to know if there are any forged pistons / rods for the F20C engine (s2k - engine)
i've heared about a special coating of the sleeves... so do i have to resleeve the engine as well when i want to use forged internals?
whats possible with stock internals - reliable?
and what does all the s2k guy's do with their engines?
Thanks

Re: F20C and forged internals? (RyanEJ8)
yes, ok but whats about the compression ratio?
how much boost is possible on 93 octane pumpgas? and whats reliable?
if 400whp are reliable possible on 93 octane then there is no need other pistons, but i would sleep better with a compression like 9:1 or so...

The compression is a little high for boost, but there are alot of people that made a ton of power on stock block F20C's. I'm thinking they may have been using a thicker headgasket or something though.

Re: F20C and forged internals? (mrx)
I'm working on a Turbo S2000 build at the moment.
GT35/40R
75 shot Nitrous
Custom top mount manifold
V mount Radiator/Intercooler
AEM EMS
Going to use Golden Eagle 87mm sleeves with CP Pistons and Pauter Rods.
I've seen some very stout numbers from stock F20Cs. I'm not sure on reliability, however.
Best of luck on your build.
