Default A/F while idling... how stable is your idle.

I started my car for the first time yesterday since I installed my new turbo and I was looking at my wideband at idle... I noticed that the A/F was going up and down really fast. Something between 13.0 and 17.0 but most of the time it was between 13.5 and 15.0. I was able to ear that the sound of the engine was changing with the varition of the A/F...

I have a PLX M300.

I dont think that my new turbo could affect the AF that much since it was like that last year. Is it possible that my ZEX59300 cam make the idle act weird ?

I may work on that tonight.

How is yours on your car ?

doesnt it do that because of the iacv letting in more/less air?

and the load the altenator puts on the motor wen the electrical components turn on and off?

i wouldnt worry about it.....

mine did it to me this spring too. Few differences from last year. I changed the fuel around that area, and it helped, now it stays right around 14.6 and cleared up my idle a lot. I havne't gotten around to fully tunning it, still working out some other bugs, but you could try adjusting the idle areas of the map, and see if that helps.

Mine did that also but I don't have an EMS, I just up the idle a little and it solve that.
I can't see why your new turbo could have anything to do with that.
