F#!$%* detonation HELP!!!!
I am running a 75 shot dry Zex kit, retared timing to 14BTDC using 1 step colder plugs Autolite 3923 is the plug. Car runs fine no problems untill I use the nitrous. Then it melts the ground strap on the plug. What am I doing wrong here and what can I do to stop it? Maybe B&M Adj. FPR? Should I go for 2 step colder plugs? Autolite junk? Help me out.
My clutch slips horribly when I hit the nitrous could I possibly be mech. over-revving the engine? I have a new clutch disc... should I put just a new disc in?

Re: F#!$%* detonation HELP!!!! (thumbtack)
before you use nitrous you should always make sure ur car is in good shape so it would be a very good idea to replace your clutch if it is slipping. Whats the point of using it anyway if you clutch just slips?

get a few more sets of plugs and a wideband o2. sounds like you're leaning out and the plugs are eating it before anything else has a chance to.
