External Coil, Is there a stock B series Cap that works??
Instead of using the MSD cap is there a stock Honda distributor cap that has the external coil provision. My friend used a prelude cap on his sohc but im not sure about the Dohc distributors.

Try his cap before discounting the idea.
I know there is at least one stock car that has external coil, my friend uses it on his DOHC for the MSD. IIRC it was Prelude, but I couldn't say what year, and I'm not even sure about that.

it depends on what B series distributor you use this on. I remember when i was putting the accord cap on my Integra distributor it wouldn't fit, i think you need the B16 distributor. Theres a bigger B series distributor and a smaller B series distributor. Correct me if im wrong.
