Hehe.. let me know if you need any help Anthony. I did the whole motor in 2 nights start to finish... boosting reaaaaallly nice now. Theres no sound in the world like a blowoff.

I've scared countless amounts of pedestrians in the past 2 days... too much damn fun.

my wallet just got lighter THINKING about all that It really sucks... so easy to dump money into these cars

I just want to go about this the most cost and LABOR effective way possible. Pulling the head/turbo/piston drained me today enough as it was... I really don't want to have to rent a cherry picker to get this pig back on the road.
you can always buys a 1st gen b16a block for couple hunder bucks ...

Whats going on Greg... long time no see.

I wanted to fix the cars original block because of VIN# matching etc for resale. The one cylinder wall was well within spec after honing it so it worked out perfectly and runs great. If the car was older and I didn't care... I'd do exactly what you said and toss a B16A1 block in.
