Default Exhaust Questions...Help!!!

Im thinking about joining the groupbuy KTeller8 is having for 2.5 or 3.0 exhaust...anyways im wondering wether it would be better to run a 2.5 or 3.0 for my future set up, i plan on running a small t3 on my b16a boosting 8-10psi, would teh 3 inch really make a diff. for this application?...Also at the moment the car does not have exhaust, just dumps after the header(Car isn't on the road yet, was stolen and they stole my whole system)...basically what would i need to do(if possible) to run the 2.5 or 3.0 (depending on what i get) piping on my car now and get it to bolt up to the stock header? also what cat would you reccommend, if any?...i don't wanna have to buy an exhaust now, then another a couple months down the road when im turbo..

Obviously the 3" would make more power, but not much with your application. You have to ask yourself is the extra noise worth the extra 5 hp or so?

hey man, i'm in the same boat. I am going to be running 8psi max with a T3 on my 99 Si b16a2. I think i am going to opt for the 2.5". A ton of people swear by the 3", but I ran across a website from some hardcore guys that Turbo BMWs with over 10ibs of boost and they say "exhaust should be 2.5", no bigger than 2.75".

I wish Kteller8 had 2.75" . That would be a good compromise.

Also a WRX runs something like 13 ibs stock and they have 2.5" exhaust? Correct me if I'm wrong.

Not just more power, it will help spool-up.
