I just put in my new Thermal 3" with Carsound highflow cat.
Is it normal at idle to now have increased smoke out the exhaust at idle? The smoke is grey white. I was assuming its due to the high flow cat not burning off enough excess fuel vapor?

Your exhaust and your cat is brand new right?? That's normal for a couple of days. All the material (i don't know the name) inside the cat and the muffler is buring off.
