Default Exhaust 2.5" or 3"

I have a 2.5" downpipe, should I use 2.5" or 3" exhaust piping.

3" will yield better gains.

But someone told me that with 3" exhaust I might get boost creep.

3" is also loud as ****. How much power are you planning on making?

I thought boost creep was dependant on wastegate placement?

I you have the Drag manifold, most people that upgraded to 3" resulted spiking issues.

I'd go with the 3" or you could go with the Greddy PEII(2.75) it would yield good gains and be a little quiter than 3".

some people had boost spike due to a 3" downpipe and 3" exhaust. Don't think that your 2.5"DP will allow for much boost creep.....check around in the search though. Do you already have an exhaust or do you have to buy one either way???

I'm running a Tial wastegate off a DRAG manifold with the DRAG 2.5" downpipe to a 3" Thermal exhaust. I have only slight boost creep, about a .5 psi change.

.5 is nothing, but since you already have 2.5DP and 3"Exhaust, leave it that way

dude we're on the same damn boat. what setup are you looking to run?
I'm going .... stock b18c + apexi turbo kit + Uberdata
235whp and 175tq @ 7psi
280whp and 205tq @ 10psi
300whp and 230tq @ 12-14psi
The apexi kit has a 2.5 downpipe

Now i'm thinking about going with the Greddy SP2 which is 60mm.... about 2.35ish

what do you all think?
