ex civic turbo faster on dx trans?
hey guys my friend has a 98 ex civic on the greddy kit... will he be faster if he installs the ds tranny?
are the gears longer so he can hold boost longer??

I heard that putting the DX tranny on a GSR is teh bets for performance. something about the DX being better because the gears are lighter and can turn faster. is this true? kthxbye

no, not at all, we are not talking about 600lbs torque monsters who need longer gears, we are talking about small, high reving motors, w/ a the powerband in the high RPM. the DX tranny would be a waste.
