Re: evo8 turbo manifold for a honda????
I've not got the turbo etc on the car yet, I got the car (EF7 with a smoky B18c hydro swap) back on the road a few weeks ago but I've been busy doing a bit of RWYB & a round of the UK Honda Drag Series so once I get paid I'm going to put my sleeved B16 in to run-in NA first then the turbo will go on after my next race near the end of July
I've seen a dyno graph a guy over here in the UK has posted a plot showing 330hp & 220lbs ft @ 12psi.

alot of people underestimate 16gs and what they are capable of. I have a buddy making 404awhp with a ported 16g on e85 and it builds boost just by revving the motor lol

They never drop off, a couple of cars have actually had boost creep with them.

Re: evo8 turbo manifold for a honda????
sorry to re-hash a somewhat old thread.
does anyone know how these turbos spool on a built d-series?
I picked one up from a friend and considering it for a new build..
I might have a manifold made so i can utilize the twin scroll.
any thoughts, experience or input?

There are very few options
race-tech in the UK makes one but they aren't cheap
one or two companies in the US will special make them but the minimum price tag is about 650
Or make your own.

Unfortunately not everyone has the knowledge or ability to do their own fabrication... you, me, and a handful of others are probably the only ones that could do it successfully.
if ebeveryone could weld there wouldn't be any badass fabricators lol (although I just started watching Vegas Rat Rods on discovery that follows Welderup in Las Vegas, those guys do some wicked ****)
kinda like how if building cars were easy then any idiot with a toolbox would be "building" race cars lol.
