*searched* just 1 topic with no specific answer..

Do you guys know if the EVO VIII injectors fit a civic? Do i use a resistor box just like DSM 450's?
How many CC are they?

 

I'm going to guess that they're 450cc stock and you won't need a resistor pack, but that's just a guess.....

I want to say 550. I run them over them in my GSX.

 

Are they 550's?? I just thought that since it is a DSM (basically) it would have the same injector size.....plus a 450 would support the power an Evo makes....

 

Running some right now FJT... off a newer evo8 MR.... 560 is on the serial (so either 550cc or 560cc)... and they fit right in place of my 450s.

 

Are they a direct swap if not what do u need to change???

If you are already running DSM injectors and a resistor box (stock for obd0)... then they are just a plug/play... and RETUNE

so theyre 560CC?
Im shooting for 300+whp.. would you say theyre good for 300-325whp?

Considering people say the 450s are just ok for 300... I believe the 550s should be fine for more... if anything you can run a higher fuel psi from the start also... and just tune for it.

I literally took my 450s out, put the 550/560s in and redid my maps and started it up. Car seems like it responds nicer also... unsure if thats due to newer injectors... or that they are of a design that sprays a better pattern.

Ditto, a guy at my local shop is a DSM freak and I used to be one as well. 560 it is.

well i found some info from a guy that works with Evos here.. He said that the 2002-2003 EV0 VIII injectors are 560cc and the 2004-2005 EVO are 575cc.

Splitime..How much you got your injectors for? Anyone know how much they sell for?

Mine had 7000miles on them... got them locally for 130. Sold my 450s for 50... so I figure I got them for 80bucks ;p. I think they usually tend to go for closer to 200 used though.

 

130 sounds good man..A guy locally wanted 200(discounted from 275) for his EVO 575cc inj.
