A friend of mine runs one of those on his turbo civic and it looks like a piece of crap compared to a precision. Theres a reason people upgrade the intercoolers on their evos.

Yeah but you already had the better intercooler and sold it for something of less value, quality, function, etc. You went backwards.

You're downgrading all your **** just so you can brag that you have less money in it? Who cares? I'd be more impressed with your precision intercooler than you saying "yeah man, this is a used evo intercooler that I got for $70."

lol

In some sub-concious sense you DO care what other people think about your stuff, otherwise you would've never even made this thread. Don't get butthurt dude, I just don't understand why you would go from a precision to a stock EVO intercooler.

and anyway, wouldn't an EVO intercooler, made by mitsubishi, actually be more JDM than a precision, which is made in America?

Your avatar depicts you well.

Precision is not a JDM fad, it's simply a better intercooler that was even made in the USA.

Whatever floats your boat though, but I don't get why you spent extra money to downgrade!?

you're over analyzing..

i'm not a regular on this site, although it has some decent members. I quit coming here as a regular when I noticed the horrible bandwagon trends that have everyone running identical setups..

I didn't spend extra money! I sold my precision for 170, and bought an evo intercooler for 70.. that's 100 back in my pocket

Well its kind of hard to be original when everyone has pretty much done it all to Honda's, you dig?

similar setups usually means they work. trial and error

those fittings look pretty expensive for a budget build
