was the precision intercooler rated for 350hp?and most evo guys upgrade when their making over 325hp i think your going to regret getting the evo intercooler.what are you goals for the set up?if your only going for like 300hp or less then you would be ok.

yea the precision is rated 350hp.. the evo is about the same, i've been told it's efficient up to 400hp, but like i've said before, the decision was base on financial benefit without hurting the setup, not which is more popular

it's funny, these are the type of responses I was looking for.. it's like how I welded my driver side ek mount solid instead of buying a hasport conversion

you guys would have a **** fit over that

Even on HMT you'd get people asking the same issues.

Just say you're a broke-*** N* and be done with it. Generally though if you buy a part that depreciates a decent amount just by actually paying for it, you don't turn around and sell it & replace it with a inferior item (in compairison).

I have no doubt the intercooler works, but seriously - wrong group of people to show it to.

You sold the precision for $170, Bought the EVO intercooler for $70.

Got $100 back in your pocket, then $100 in u-bend couplers and/or mod the piping.

FAIL!

what's up nog? I like your homemade topmount.. btw i actually paid 150 for the precision to begin with.. i don't see any loss by using the evo unit compared to the precision.. it's a very simple concept

Everyone runs identical setups because they work, I try to buy brand-name stuff when I can because I don't like to run inefficient **** for the sake of originality.

Paint isn't really a good thermal conductor.

The evo unit looks quite a bit larger to me. Is it's construction really inferior to the point where it negates the increased frontal area..?

p.s. Dude, marcj, your avatar creeps me out. wtf...
