got one... it was puck style and metallic (sp)
it was nice. Very soft feel close to OEM. Grabs good. Stage3 and made to handle 300whp and under. got it for $185shipped
clutch engagment is nice...not like stock but not toooo bad.
CM 3 would be my pick but more expensive though and does feel like OEM

The organic disc from Exedy is an OEM replacement. So if you are making some serious power (or anything higher than stock for that matter), don't get the organic disc.

I love mine!
I'm actually using an Exedy pressure plate with an Action 6 puck so it can handle a little more torque...Awsome setup for under 250ft/lbs.
With my new built motor hopefully around 400hp, and 300ish tq, I'm going with a ACT Extreem, and action 6 puck.

If you are getting a drag kit, I definetly would'nt get the organic cause it wears out fast. Im making 200 WHP and the bitch is starting to slip in fourth.

Organic does not mean it's a stock replacement. They make organic stock replacements and organic racing clutches, both with totally different holding properties.

Re: (quikB18B)
I have the exedy organic race disk, and have had it for 2+ years, and it is holding up perfectly fine. The feel is amazing. My friend had an ACT on his boosted Si, and it just recently crapped out. We got our clutches about the same time. I believe he had the Xtreme PP with the Street disk or the other way around I can't remember If, and when my exedy goes out I am going to move to the exedy cerametallic clutch, which also has a very nice feel, and holds a lot more power

Re: (skrewdlude)
my buddy's running an exedy stage1 organic disc on his b18c5 turbo ek and it's been holding up pretty good for him.
myself, i've had my exedy ceremetallic sprung 3puc for about 3 months now and i too love it. I like mine cuz it's perfect for daily driving, smooth engagement, not an abusive clutch, easy on the tranny but holds my turbo b16 no prob. and i dont know about you, but i could get two of these clutches for the same price as 1 act!

I run ACT Xtreeme w/ Stg 2 dics in the Civic and in the Teg, never had a problem with them. Next step is an ACT Xtreme PP w/ 6-puck for the GSR (300whp+)

and dont 4get in our cars factory turbochargers were not options i dont think anyone is saying the quality is bad but in this case for a turbo application the street clutches may not be the best choice altho i think i may go with the cerametalic clutch

Well Exedy makes more than just the stock and 3 puck clutches...
For our cars, there is the stock replacement, Upgraded stock (utilizing a stonger carbon disc, and thicker sprung pressure plate), and finally the 3 puck (utilizing the same pressure plate as the upgraded stock but with the 3 puck disc).
The Upgraded stock IMO is best for MOST street applications...Slightly stiffer pedal, but with a nice enagagment that will last a long time under 250lb's ot tq.
For a full-blown race/street setup go for the ACT, or Action.

I had the Exedy organic race setup in my 2000 Civic Si for over a year with no problems. Pedal was a little stiffer, but engagement was nice and smooth and it held the power just fine.
