Default everyone list a problem and solution! trouble shootin!

what if we got everyone to list a problem they had, and how they fixed it? this way, we can use this thread as a trouble shooter.

aww, no one? alright, i'll start it. i was getting no boost in my car, no spool. the piping that connects to the turbo outlet had come off! what a relief.

also, one time i heard a high pitched squeaking in place of my BOV. after a while, i figured out the 2 bolts that hold the bov to the flange had come loose.

A GReddy turbo non intercooled was detonating. We resolved this by replacing the plugs with a heat range 6 (instead of 4) spark plug.

i couldnt get my rc 440 cc injectors to fit my plugs, i have an obd1 gsr motor and thought that i needed to buy new plugs, turns out i had to shave a little plastic of the injector to make em fit.

I once blew my engine to $hit.

Too much juice. Now I use less juice.

Car dies going down the road = remove dist cap, re-install rotor cap screw, continue driving.

Car runs lean constatly, mildly detonates = replace fuel pump, fule strainer, fuel filter

Car runs on 3 cyclinders = rotate BOV so that it doesn't touch the #3 plug wire

Car dies on acceleration and lopes like is has a huge cam = Intake cam jumped 1 tooth retarded
