Default Keep A/C for Turbo Teg LS??

As the topic states, do I have to get rid of my a/c if I go tubo? I haven't bought the car yet, but if I can't keep the a/c, I might as well buy one that doesn't come with it to begin with.
If I can keep it, is it a good idea anyways? How will it afect the performance with the turbo and a/c both on?

depends on the turbo setup you use. the exhaust manifold size will be the deciding factor. also, the turbo is always "on" and if you plan to race anyone why would you even have ac on to begin with? just so you know, why i had my ac on after my turbo setup... the ac wasnt even half as cold as before. it was because the intercooler was blocking a lot of the ac components from outside air.

you should be able to keep it. i have a very big custom manifold, and i managed to make my a/c fit. it's really a bitch without a/c!! if you can withstand high temperatures, or if you don't drive too much, i'd loose the a/c. but without a/c, it begins to get on your nerves. you're not going to feel any less power by leaving the a/c in. just don't turn it on when you're running!

Sorry what I meant by 'on' was on the car. I would be running either a t3 or t3/t4. So if it does fit, I can just turn off the a/c and the turbo and car wil run just as good as if it wasn't there at all?
Even if the airs isn't as cold, its better than nothing I guess.

I run a rev hard stage 2, with a t3/t04e and I not only keep a/c but BOTH stock radiator fans on the engine side.. some people move them over on the other side, the shop I went to move the passenger fan over a smidge with brackets but other then that.....

Also the DP was dented in a bit to clear the A/C nothing major...... I can't live w/o a/c right now outside its 95f with nearly 100% humidity... **** no A/C!!!

depends on the design of the manifold and dp...if it doesnt hit the ac compressor then u get to keep ac. i had to ditch mines.
