Ethanol VS. Methanol
besides that fact that one is made from grain and the other from wood.........
what are the differences between the two? performance wise..... tuning wise.....
just wondering.......

Doesn't directly answer ure question, just info...Ethanol, as an additive, burns with a higher fuel effeciency than MTBE when in used in reg gasoline. It's not necessarily cleaner burning, but its much easier to clean ethanol up in the environment than it is with MTBE

Methanol has 9800 BTU/LB and 6.4:1 AF ratio and Ethanol has 12,800 BTU/LB and 9.0:1 AF ratio. Ethanol is also almost a pound heavier per gallon.
