What did you use to cut the radiator mounts off?

ETD materials aren't the greatest ....but if you're on a budget, it's better than nothing!!!

I have a brand-new Full-Race set for sale here:

people have problems with the etd bar on g2 tegs. there are a few people that nearly seriously injured themselves or their vehicles while using these bars. etd is like 15 minutes from my house. i've seen the bars a few times.i believe they are fine for eg's & dc's. but, on g2's and ef civic/crx's i'd opt for the z10 or full race, which is what i did. DB2 here

ive seen the older designs on the DA and they look like modified stock bars. The new ones look great. Im not to big on the aluminum looking rods but for the most part I figured it would do what its meant to do.....I could be wrong doe??

We bought one of these for our CRX. It was a great looking bar, and customer service was fine. Installation was okay, but those neat looking mounts didn't work with the Civic aluminum half rad we had (Yonaka Half Rad). The lower return point on the rad, hit the cross bar. Of course we didn't find that out until after we cut off one of the stock rad mounts. We needed the car running, so ended up welding the stock rad mount back on, and buying a new stock rad to put in the car to get it running.

I haven't followed up with ETD since I found out the rad mounts don't work, but really don't have time to figure it out. Will probably just buy something else and move forward.

ya I use them on 94 hatch h22 hasport(I think they are the older version mounts) they fit by the oil pan by about 1/2", and they have two mounting points for the tow hook holes, but if you want it on the higher setting, which will not hang down too low, then you would have to cut the radiator support.

Thanks for the info. So you have the hasport first series mounts?
Do you have any problems with Rad clearance? Stock rad or after market?

its the stock radiator, I use the bars on the lower setting unless you want to cut the stock radiator support off and use the etd radiator supports.

I just installed these on my EG, really not bad quality at all. But I had to use the lower setting because they hit my radiator supports.. I think I'm going to cut mine out and use there supports.. But I want to know the easiest way to do that.. Has anybody tryed this on an EG yet? and how did you get the stock supports off? and how good was the fitment of the ETD radiator supports?

Well I just installed these today and they clear the H22 with the Hasport2 mounts no problem. I used the lowest setting and it's not hanging to low at all. Oh and the wheel hop is gone!

they are garbage first the arm was hitting my crank pulley but then i changed from a ls crank pulley to a gsr pulley . that fixed that problem then one day i got on it real hard on the streets and the bar came out of the end plate. I contacted etd and sent them pics and they basically told me it was my fault I ended up taking to a local sgop and got them fixed if i knew how to get picks up i will post pics
etd sucks never again.they were the new high horsepower ones by the wat it is a stock ls pushing 240hp 230 torqe

Just installed mine, I love them so far. Kinda low though, I keep hitting them but I can't raise them because the charge pipes are in the way.

I got the ETD traction bars for my EK .Love them. Perfect fit did not have to grind anything. The finish was very good. Harware is top notch and i drove with them for 1,500 km and no clunking or binding at all. And there service was top notche

Oh and the tow hooks work ok there a bit small but they worked out twice in one week

Bump for ETD traction bar help eliminated immense wheel hoping and Tork Steer and difenately lots of traction.
