Default engineeee

Hey im new to the forum and am looking forward to learning, i have already used the search option for many of my questions but would like to hear from you guys. Im looking to build a sleeper 92-95 hatch. I was wondering how long (generally) those motors last (miles) if kept in good condition.

My mods will include si wheels, tein susp., and here is where i need help. i want to find the most approptiate engine for turbocharging. What engine has stronger internals or can handle the most power. Im looking to run around 250-275hp. What engine should I look for and where should i look?. If i got a jdm motor what kind of wiring needs to be done? Thanks and feel free to guide me in the right direction. Also i do not think that i will have access to a garage because im moving to the west coast. How much would an engine and install cost? est. i would do the turbo work myself

Honestly, in your position I think you would be best to purchase a hatch already swapped and turbo'd. You may want to change a few things to your liking, but you would be time and money ahead. (You say you don't even know if you have space to work on this.) There are alot of good deals in the vehicle's for sale forum.

Ok, I am just going off of your post, no offense but you don't seem too knowledgable about Honda's..................

My suggestion:

Either a b16 or GSR or Ls will easily do for that horsepower level.
-You will need a complete b-series obd 1 swap. (hmotorsonline)
-I would use a full-race turbo kit (for power and simplicity sake)
-Quality exhaust for your sleeper image (k-teller can help you)
-255 lph fuel pump, 550cc injectors and adj pressure reg. (you could probably get away with a stock fuel rail.
-Quality engine management system like hondata or AEM. (you can also use uberdata)
-And get some dyno time and a good tuner, too properly dial in your setup.

Spend some time in the hybrid, eg+ek, and forced induction forum.

Hopefully this will get you off to a good start
