I need some help. I've got a 92 Civic Si Hatchback right now. Even with the turbo it still lacks the speed I'm craving. So I'm thinking about getting a b18c5 which I have all ready to order once I figure out a few more things. The onlyquestion I could have is with the displacement that the b18c5 has would I need to do work to the head gasket and the pistons so I don't fry my engine when I give it boost? I've been told I would but I'm not 100% sure. The current turbo I have is off a thunderbird coupe but the turbo I would most likely get for the b18c5 would be the t3/t4 hybrid..... Do you know if I'll run into any big problems???

 

when you say displacement, you mean compression??? id say youd need to run lower compression pistons. what size turbo you lookin at?

 

T3/T4 Hybrid....herm, lest you have a better Idea.

 

When he is talking about size. he means Trim size. Wheel size. How much hp do u want to make.

Look around a bit and you will find all the info you need. Honda-tech has a plethora of information on anything forced induction.

 

yes, ^^ thats exactly what im talking about. what trim and wheel size, not what KIND of turbo. t3/t4 is a TYPE of turbo, not the size of it. do a search and look up turbo sizes and such.
