engine mods to run 9 to 12 psi
I am looking to get a civic si soon and i want to put a turbo on it. I was wondering what type of engine mods i would have to do or should to run 9 to 12 psi

Upgrade your fuel system. Best choice would be hondata stage2b atleast with 440 injectors. You also can go the cheaper way and pick up a vafc along with a inline fuel pump,440 injectors,fmu and you should be set atleast for the fuel system. Your also going to need to upgrade your clutch. You need and I repeat you need to have it TUNED or your gonna blow. The safer way would be to pick up some forged pistons and rods such as je and eagle alone with the hondata and tuning and you should be fine.

at 9-12psi, i'd say get a blockguard installed, standalone/piggyback engine management (Link/Hondata/Haltech/etc..) keep your stock internals (no need for forged pistons/rods, etc..), but lower the compression with a thicker headgasket, and get it tuned properly. That's what i'd do, anyway
EDIT: almost forgot to mention.. don't forget to get a better, stronger, grippy clutch too!
