Re: engine managment E-MAN (ttaplin)
Get a chipped OBD-I ECU with uberdata or crome. They are like 150, then buy an OBDII - OBDI conversion harness. then tune it or get it tuned by someone asap, also you will need injectors im sure

the emanage is a glorified v-afc hack, i personally would never use it, your better going with uber or chrome if you want something cheap, then you can take that extra cash you saved and by a wideband to tune with

In the Honda world there are too many other things on the market that the Emanage isnt top of the list.
However Emanage seems to be working in the Supra comunity well. I have the new Emanage Ultimate I am installing in mine now.
10x better then the old one. Its a real tuning tool now instead of a signal hacker

ball bearing t3? i thought only the gtxxR series was ball bearing, and until recently they just made the center sections in the 360 degree thrust bearing, or did i miss something? Uberdata is awesome i love it and made good power. Its very user friendly and easily configured for a beginner

Have you ever used it? It sounds like you either didn't know what you were doing, or didn't have a tuner who knew how to use it. I just noticed the hostility towards it.

You're outdated guy...
It is not the old E-manage unit with the shitty dial ***** for fuel control only...
E-manage with injector and ignition harness and Support Tool unleashes a wide variety of tuning options. Good system IMO, but for a Honda, there are many more options available.

Re: (Tony the Tiger)
i am well aware of the system, it is still a glorified hack, not saying it wont work, but even with the "advanced" features it doesnt stack up to a hondata or uberdata management. It still tricks the ecu into adding/subtracting values which i dont like, even though it may work i would rather have a system that reads the sensors and uses those direct signals for the fuel map. The emanage takes the signals and changes them so the stock ecu doesnt go ape ****. I dont like add-on type deals, just me
ohh and i would only buy an emanage for something like a nissan where the stock code isnt easily decrypted, with honda thats not the case, but as i said i dont like it...

The New Emanage wont do that.
But if you dont like add on deals, Hondata is a similar deal.
Anyway Ill let people know my reviews on the Ultimate.
I can tell you now though there are plenty on MKIII Supras running both versions fine. Also MKIV's are loving the Ultimate now becuase it lets them get rid of the maf for a low price.

Re: (gssr)
e-manage is a much more logical engine management for cars who ecu cant be modded as easily as honda (obd-1) ecu's, there are much better and cheaper things to use, like the new neptune rtp that is coming out rivals the s300 and is only 450 bucks, the same cost as the emanage ultimate and it has waaayyyyy more functions and features...
