engine life

i want to get a greddy kit for my d16y8 honda. Will adding a turbo shorten the engines life? p.s. I am probably going to go with 5 psi daily and 8 on raceday.

It all depends on the person that indtalls it and how well the car is tuned. If all is done right then the engine will last as long as you want it too.
